The Astralster (Japanese: アストラルスター, Asutorarusutā) is a Mini 4WD PRO car released by Tamiya on January 26, 2013. It was designed by car designer Kota Nezu of Znug Design, who would later design Raikiri in 2015.
It was featured in the on-going manga Hyper Dash! Yonkuro as one of the street Mini 4WD racers' machines.
General info[]
The Astralster features a 2x2 sports car body design, designed by Znug Design (Kota Nezu). It has the old-type headlamps and rear lamp that were covered under the bodyshell, and has two tiny air intakes on the bonnet to dissipate heat from the motor and batteries. The front and rear fenders were widened.
Standard model[]
Although the bodyshell of the standarad Astralster was molded in black, images of the assembled car has two-tone black and white, with red stripes.
It was equipped with the black, small diameter 5-spoke Saber-type wheels paired with the black low-profile tires. It has the N-02 and T-02 units and has the black, 16 mm plastic ringless rollers. It was equipped with the lightweight center chassis parts. The nose, center, tail unit and the A parts were molded in black.
Aluminum Metallic[]
The limited Aluminum Metallic variants features the silver plated bodyshell and wheels. Other than that, it is mostly the same as the standard model.
Tiger Version[]
The limited Tiger Version variant is mostly the same as the regular model, with numerous changes. It includes a special Tiger-themed decal in addition to the standard one.
The MS Chassis presented in the regular model was swapped out for the all black MA Chassis with polycarbonate-mixed ABS frame, and the black wheels were also replaced by the red ones. It comes with the black, super hard low-profile tires.

Hyper Dash! Yonkuro[]
The Astralster, along with Raikiri and Ablista, are racing machines belongs to the street Mini 4WD participants. They were however, unfortunately got rammed out of the circuit by Tankuro's Burning Sun.
