The countersunk screw set (Japanese: 皿ビスセット, Sara Bisu Setto) is a series of Mini 4WD Grade-up Parts released by Tamiya since March 11, 2017.
As of 2018, only the stainless sets was made available.
General info[]
The countersunk head screws has the screw head that has flat upper screw surface and lower conical part. The lower conical part's angle is 100 degrees.
When placing onto the countersink screw holes that was pre-made (Such as the FRP plate parts comes with certain Mini 4WD limited edition items) or was modified with any of the countersink bits (Using the Electric Handy Router with countersink bit equipped.), the screw head will flush with the surface of the FRP or CFRP plates and not sticking out like normal screws do.
Under current MIni 4WD race regulations, modifying the screw holes on FRP and CFRP plates via the router with coutersink bit before installing the screw is required, since installing onto the normal holes would make the screw head stick out clearly and will cut and scratch the circuit's surface and fences, thus violates the regulations.
