The DCR-02 (Japanese: DCR-02, Dekurosu Zero-tsū, pronounced as 'Decross Zero Two') is a Mini 4WD PRO car that was released on December 22, 2018.
It was designed by Takayuki Yamazaki of pdc_designworks.
General info[]
The DCR-02 features the futuristic, low-height open-wheel body design, with long thin front nose, wide rear fenders and the rear multi-flaps spoiler.
Just like the DCR-01, it features the Cross System bodyshell and any of them can be swapped for other color parts. Unlike DCR-01, the cockpit is part of the rear cowl, meaning that the recreation of the open-top bodyshell is impossible. Part of the bodyshell components can be combines with any of the DCR series bodyshell parts to create unique body styles.
Despite being a module-like bodyshell, it was designed to be race-ready as it has the front and side air intakes, thus allowing better heat dissipation for the motor and batteries.
Standard variant[]
The standard variant has the yellow body color with white/black stripes, carbon patterns and green cockpit.
It was equipped with the gun metal, small diameter low-profile Y-spoke wheels paired with the black low-profile tires. Its chassis frame and A parts were molded in gun metal and yellow respectively.
Fluorescent Green Special[]
The Fluorescent Green Special features the fluorescent green bodyshell with silver cockpit.
It was equipped with the silver plated, small diameter low-profile Y-spoke wheels paired with the green hard-compound low-profile tires. Its chassis frame and A parts were molded in white and green respectively.
Clear Black Special[]
The Japan Cup-exclusive Clear Black Special variant featuring the black smoke bodyshell.
It was equipped with the matte pink plated, small diameter low-profile Y-spoke wheels paired with the black super-hard low-profile tires. The chassis and A parts were molded in clear purple and white respectively.
