The DX Rolling Circuit 2022 (Japanese: DXローリングサーキット2022, Dī Ekkusu Rōringu Sākitto 2022) is a Mini 4WD circuits built by Tamiya for the 2022 season of Tamiya Japan Cup.
General info[]
Unlike last year's Max Surprise Circuit Remix 2021, the DX Rolling Circuit 2022 only have one consistent track layout. The flows of the track are as follows:
- Right after the start line is combination of two different sections. The first is the Start Uphill, which is a slight, linear slope. Following after the Start Uphill is the Climb Changer 6-2-3, consists of the first 60 degree right bank curve with lane change, a second 20 degree left bank curve and the third 30 degree right bank curve. If the car in the other 4 lanes didn't land properly before the first part of the Climb Changer, there's a chance that the car will flip over or fly out of the track. This is more apparent in lap 2 onward where car has more speed.
- After the Climb Changer is the FDK Rolling Slash, a uphill left 270 degree curve. Following the curve is the Yokohama Tire Bridge straight section with transparent road surface.
- Following the right curve and a straight is the FDK Rolling Fall, a downhill right U-turn curve. For cars in the inner lane, a much higher downthrust roller angle is needed to prevent from being fly off the track when going through the section.
- After two straights is the New Era 45 degree Glide Bank, a section consists of a right curve, two straights and another right curve in a 45 degree tilt bank.
- Right after the Glide Bank is the Digital Dragon Back, which has 2 digital linear slopes. if the car didn't land properly before the right curve, the car will risk being coursed out.
14 stages were held during June 25 to November 13, 2022.
