The Desert-Golem (Japanese: デザートゴーレム, Dezāto Gōremu) is an Aero Mini 4WD car released by Tamiya in May 1999. The GPA variant of the car was later released on March 26, 2002.

It was featured in the manga Bakusou Kyoudai Let's & Go! MAX as Khareem Hamed's machine.

General info[]

The Desert-Golem features the heavy-armored, fully cowled body design. It has the front side wheel guards that were attached to its blocky front cowls and the rear cowls has the track tread-like design. It has four headlamps on the front.

All variants were equipped with the small diameter 3-spoke VS-type wheels and X narrow-type slick tires.

Desert-Golem[]

The standard Desert-Golem features the buff body color, with the green camouflage-like body decals on it. It sports the blue cockpit on the center and the gray-colored track treads on its rear cowls.

It was equipped with red wheels and black tires. The chassis frame and A parts were molded in dark green. It doesn't come with a motor.

GPA[]

The GPA version follows the similar style as with other GPA cars, which are designed in mind with GP Chips. In additions to having its body color changed from buff to metallic violet, this variant also has holes opened to shave weight. A GT-styled rear spoiler was added onto the rear.

It was equipped with yellow wheels and black tires. The chassis frame and A parts were molded in white. It doesn't come with a motor.

Bakusou Kyoudai Let's & Go! MAX[]

In the manga, the Desert-Golem is a off-road-orientated racing machine.

It has the lift-type active suspension system on the front and the caterpillar-like wheel-switching system on the rear. The Desert-Golem's bodyshell itself is also very tough, as it didn't receive any damage from the attacks by the Kusanagi brothers' cars. It also has unusual high amount of torque which, combined with its toughness, allowing the car to push any heavy objects.
