It was created to celebrate the 2019 Mini 4WD Asia Challenge that was held in Manila, Philippines.
The Dyipne, as the name implies, is inspired by the Jeepney: an iconic form of minibus originally derived from the Willys Jeeps left by American forces just after World War II.
In line with real-life jeepneys, the Dyipne comes with flashy decals adorning the bodyshell. The sides show a silhouette of the driver and its passengers, along with the Lils Hobby Center logo, the "Asia Challenge" logo in brush script, and the Hyper-Dash Motor logo amongst other things, and place names showing the jeepney's "route"–Quiapo, Makati and Parañaque, while three silver-coloured horse figurines are perched above the bonnet.
The kit comes equipped with metallic silver, small diameter low-profile A-spoke wheels paired with black low profile tires. The chassis frame and the A parts are molded in black and red respectively.
- With the height of 56mm, the Dyipne is currently the tallest Mini 4WD car ever released as of January 2020, followed by Rising Bird.
