The Dyipne (Japanese: ジプニー, Jipunī, Also known as Jeepney in other languages.) is a Philippine-exclusive Mini 4WD REV car released by Tamiya in Q3 2019.

It was created to celebrate the 2019 Mini 4WD Asia Challenge that was held in Manila, Philippines.

General info

The Dyipne, as the name implies, is inspired by the Jeepney: an iconic form of minibus originally derived from the Willys Jeeps left by American forces just after World War II.

In line with real-life jeepneys, the Dyipne comes with flashy body decals adorning the bodyshell. The sides show a silhouette of the driver and its passengers, along with the Lils Hobby Center logo and place names showing the jeepney's "route"–Quiapo, Makati and Paranaque, while three silver-coloured horse figurines are perched above the bonnet.

It comes equipped with metallic silver, small diameter low-profile A-spoke wheels paired with black low profile tires. The chassis frame and the A parts are moulded in black and red respectively.
