The EZ Chassis (Japanese: EZシャーシ, Ījī Shāshi) is a Mini 4WD chassis released by Tamiya in 2025. It was first equipped with Fun-Vroom.
General info[]
The EZ Chassis consists of 3 section: the upper cover, the middle motor/gear housing, and the lower chassis. The chassis resembles that of the ladder frame chassis in real-life pick-up trucks.
Unlike past Original Mini 4WD chassis, it forgoes the spring-load worm gear setup in favor for the more direct gear setup consists of crown gears and spur gears, and is powered by a single AA battery instead of two. The battery can be replaced by sliding out the bottom battery cover, much like the AR Chassis.
Like the MS Chassis and MA Chassis, it utilizes the double-shaft motor.
