The Eleglitter (Japanese: エレグリッター, Eregurittā) is a Racing Mini 4WD car released by Tamiya on August 7, 2021. It was designed by car designer Kota Nezu of Znug Design, who previously designed Astralster and Raikiri.
General info[]
The Eleglitter featuring the futuristic body design with open cockpit. On the front, there's the horizontal straight, series of angular headlamps that seat just below the front fenders. On the rear, there's a single taillamp. There's air intakes on the sides of the main bodyshell.
The bodyshell can be configured in either the fully cowled form or the open-wheel form with the user-removable front and rear fenders, allowing the installation of large diameter wheels in the open-wheel form. The car also has a removable, unpainted driver figurine.
Standard model[]
The standard Eleglitter features the gray bodycolor, with blue stripes on it. The 'Tamiya' decals, the 'Znug Design' decals and the 'Elegritter' decals can be found on the bodyshell, with the car number '9' found on the removable cowls.
It was equipped with the light blue, newly designed dual 6-spoke angular-type wheels with the gray angular aero-discs, paired with the black low-profile slick tires. The chassis frame and A parts were molded in black.
