General info Edit
The Exflowly featuring the classic, mid-engine low-height race car design. It has a flat, tiny rear spoiler on the rear. The body design was inspired by the Chaparral 2D race car, as well as few Le Mans Prototypes and Group C race cars.
The bodyshell, unlike other Mini 4WD cars, was made of clear polycarbonate with plastic mounting attached, meaning it can be painted in any color with spray paint (Usually the special paints for polycarbonate). Because cutting is also required, this makes the assembly of the car harder for those not used to this.
For the normal Exflowly, The preferred color of the bodyshell is Tamiya blue, and it has the silver stripes decals.
It was equipped with the white small-diameter 3-spoke VS-type wheels paired with X-type narrow slick tires, and is equipped with the N-01 and T-01 units for its MS Chassis. The nose, center and tail parts were molded in black, while the A parts were molded in gray. It comes with the standard, light gray 16 mm lightweight plastic rollers.
Red Special Edit
The limited Red Special that is only sold at Tamiya Modelers Gallery 2017 features the newly-designed clear-type body decal, the red color body mount and the red-framed MA Chassis with black A parts.
It was equipped with the black, small diameter low-profile A-spoke wheels with the red low-profile tires.
Polycarbonate Body Special variant Edit
The limited Polycarbonate Body Special features the purple body mount for the polycarbonate bodyshell.
It was equipped with the silver plated, small diameter low-profile A-spoke wheels with the black super-hard low-profile tires. The chassis has the N-02 nose, normal center and T-01 tail, all molded in purple, with the A parts molded in black. It comes with the black 16 mm lightweight plastic rollers.
