Mini 4WD Wiki

The Fighter Magnum VFX (Japanese: ファイターマグナム VFX, Faitā Magunamu VFX) is a Fully Cowled Mini 4WD car released by Tamiya on April 25, 1996. It was the lightweight version of the Victory Magnum.

It was featured in the original manga of Bakusou Kyoudai Let's & Go! as Mini 4WD Fighter's machine and in the anime adaptation of Bakusou Kyoudai Let's & Go! MAX as Sayuri Doumoto/Fighter Lady's machine.

General info[]

The VFX features the same body design of that of Victory Magnum, except with few changes; There are holes opened up and having the rear half of the front fenders removed to save weight. It also sports the tiny winglets on its V-shaped rear spoiler.

It also has the different body decals, sporting the America-flag-like pattern.

Standard model and Premium[]

Both the standard VFX and the Premium variants features the white body color, with red and blue highlights and yellow stripes.

The original Fighter Magnum was equipped with the blue normal-type side guard attachment and was equipped with the yellow, small diameter 3-spoke Fully Cowled-type wheels paired with the black high-profile slick tires. The chassis frame and A parts were molded in gray and green. It doesn't comes with a standard motor.

The Premium variant, on the other hand, was equipped with the 6-spoke spiral-type small diameter low-profile wheels with the yellow low-profile slick tires. The chassis frame and A parts were molded in white and blue respectively, and its easy locking gear cover was molded in light smoke.

Bakusou Kyoudai Let's & Go! series[]

In the manga, the Fighter Magnum was Fighter's machine, modified from the V-machine. Its body weight has been shaved to the limit, which allows the car to run faster and quicker on both straights and corners.

In the anime adaptation of Let's & Go! MAX, Sayuri Doumoto has her own customized Fighter Magnum VFX known as the Fighter-Lady Magnum.
