The Fujitsu Premium S (Japanese: 富士通 プレミアムS, Fujitsū Puremiamu Esu) is the alkaline battery manufactured by FDK Corporation and released by its parent company Fujitsu in September 2019.

It was the successor to the company's Premium battery. It is one of the Fujitsu-branded batteries that can be used in non-Tamiya-organized tournaments as well as Tamiya-organized Japan Cup.

General info[]

In contrast with the previous Fujitsu Premium batteries, the Premium S now features the gold and blue battery label. On the AA size batteries, the number 3 (refers to the Tan-3 Kata (AA size)) is placed next to the Fujitsu branding.

In addition to the features that were carried over from the Premium batteries, the Premium S now has the newly-improved anode gel composite material that increases its overall performance by 10 percent on average, and also improved its long-term storage by 10 percent. Also new to the battery is the current pickup (also known as collector pin) that is coated with special plated material to reduces gassing inside the batteries and thus prevents battery leakage.

2022 saw the minor revision to the Premium S series in a form of modified housing, which prevents battery leakage from occurring.

As it is a Alkaline battery, it is heavier than NeoChamp battery and is not cost effective due to being a non-rechargeable battery.
