The Hi-Mount Roller Sets (Japanese: ハイマウントローラーセット, Hai Maunto Rōrā Setto) are a series of Mini 4WD Grade-Up Parts that were released by Tamiya since March 1989.
General info[]
The set typically comes with the three components: the front stay, the wing roller stay with various attachments, as well as rollers. The front stay and the wing roller stay are meant to be attached to the front bumper and the bodyshell respectively, while the rollers can be attach to both the front stay and the wing roller stay. For the Aero set, it instead comes with the equipped plastic rollers with rubber rings, as well as an additional rear spoiler that can be attached to the top of the wing roller stay.
However, the way the wing roller stay part of the set attach to the car is also a double-edge sword; Since it is attached to the bodyshell, it puts the bodyshell under stress when the car hits the fences. It was more apparent on the bodyshell with lightening holes opened, where the bodyshell will risk being breaks under stress. Also, not all bodyshells are compatible with the set.
