The Hyper-Dash Motor (Japanese: ハイパーダッシュモーター, Haipā Dasshu Mōtā) are the Mini 4WD motors released by Tamiya since its initial release in 1988. The single-shaft version has went through several revisions since then.
Only the Hyper-Dash Motor and Hyper-Dash 2 Motor are made by Mabuchi Motor, while Hyper-Dash 3 Motor and Hyper-Dash Motor PRO are made by SMC Motor.

All revisions has the red endbell cap, and all but the first Hyper-Dash Motor has silver metal housing (HD1 has black housing instead).
All Hyper-Dash Motors are performs better than Rev-Tuned Motor and Light-Dash Motor on revving but has medium torque performance compared to the torque-based motors. Both HD3 and HD PRO (made by SMC Motor) use carbon brushes instead of brass brushes, allowing for longer running life.
All motors, except the original Hyper-Dash Motor, can be used in Tamiya-sanctioned race tournaments. As both the HD1 and HD2 are discontinued, only HD3 and HD PRO can be used.

Mini 4WD Hyper Dash Grand Prix[]
First introduced on the February 5, 2020 update, the original Hyper-Dash Motor can be obtained from various time-limited gashas. The Hyper-Dash Motor is a Uphill-attributed motor parts, with the 2324.2 points of speed and 1583 points of power, but with the sub-paramaters of power consumption of 1600 points and the gear wears of 1500 points. It can have an awakening skill "Late Bloomer" which, once activated by passing through a 180 degree curve, can increase speed by 110 points and power by 220 point at max awakening level.
The Japan Cup 2022 label version of the Hyper-Dash Motor PRO was added on November 22, 2022. Made specific of the mid-motor chassis, the PRO version has 2370 points of speed and 1683 points of power, but has the same sub-parameters as its single-shaft counterpart. As of January 2024, it doesn't have an awakening skill yet.
As with in real-life, however, the use of Hyper-Dash Motors in the GP race seasons and certain race events is prohibited, this is despite the fact that the Hyper-Dash Motor PRO can be used in any race events in real-life as opposed to the original Hyper-Dash Motor.

- Since the revival of the Japan Cup in 2012, Tamiya has released special label versions of both the Hyper-Dash Motor and Hyper-Dash Motor PRO on a yearly basis.
