The Hyundai Ioniq 5 N is a Mini 4WD REV car released by Tamiya in South Korea on July 8, 2024.
It was based on the real-life car of the same name by Hyundai.
General info[]
The Ioniq 5 N features a 5-door hatchback body design, with a wing-type spoiler on the rear. The bodyshell was molded in the Hyundai N Performance Blue.
It was equipped with the small diameter fin-type low-profile wheels molded in carbon-mixed nylon, paired with the black super hard low-profile slick tires. The chassis frame and the POM A parts were molded in black. It comes with a Atomic-Tuned 2 Motor.
About the Hyundai Ioniq 5 N[]
The Hyundai Ioniq 5 N is the top-of-the-line variant of the Ioniq 5 electric car, marketed under the Hyundai N performance sub-brand. The car was first unveiled during the Goodwood Festival of Speed on July 14, 2023.
The 5 N has a two electric motor setup (with one in the front axle and one in the rear axle) in an all-wheel drive configuration like the AWD trims of the regular Ioniq 5 is, but the motors were replaced with the more powerful one that can produces up to 448 kW of power and 740 Nm of torque. It is also equipped with the N Grin Boost mode, allowing a maximum output of 478 kW of power and 770 Nm of torque being released for 10 seconds. The motor were powered by a 84 kWh lithium-ion battery, which later becomes standard for the regular Ioniq 5 in the 2024 model year.
The monocoque of the car have received 42 more wield points than the regular Ioniq 5 to increase the rigidity, with the motor and battery mounts also reinforced.
