The Jadow Ace (Japanese: ジャドウエース, Jadou Ēsu), shorten as Jadow A, is a Laser Mini 4WD car released by Tamiya on March 26, 2022.

It was featured in the manga Mini4King as Jin Endoh's machine.

General info[]

The Jadow Ace features the edged, open-wheel body. On the front, there is a pair of slim headlamps that were placed on the side, right in between the top of the front bonnet and the silver-colored bumper. On the sides of the cockpit right behind the front bonnet are the attachment points for attaching parts to. The rear parts, consist of the top part of the cockpit and the rear intakes, can be removed to reveal additional attachment points. In many instances, Jadow Ace is a sharp contrast to the previous Laser Mini 4WD car, the Lord Spirit.

By default, the Jadow Ace comes with the Laser parts consists of four 14mm offset height rollers, a pair of front under stabilizers (made exclusively for the VZ Chassis), and a rear hi-mount roller stay. The offset height rollers (attached to the front bumper and the rear high mount roller stay) provides more friction to the fence due its thickened surface and better stability due to roller offset, the front under stabilizers prevent the car from slipping out of the track and the rear hi-mount roller stay, which has the upward roller thrust angle, provides better stability at lane-changing sections.

Standard model[]

The standard Jadow Ace features the black body color, with red sprites and silver parts.

It was equipped with the red, 3-spoke Laser Dish wheels paired with the black Avante-type slick tires. The chassis frame and A parts were molded in black, and the Laser parts were molded in clear red.

Full Laser[]

The CoroCoro Comic-limited variant has the bodyshell molded in the same color as the Laser parts. It was produced at the limited quantity of 500 units.

Long before he joined Yonkdom, Jin lose a race against Yonkdom. He swear that one day, he will beat them. Upon hearing this, Yonkdom Tokyo's leader King gave Jin the Jadow Ace, telling him to try to become the fastest with it.

After became a member of Yonkdom, Jin, along with Giato, were participating into the Atami Mini 4WD Festival. Although both Jin and Giato were at last place at the start of the qualifier race, Jin has his Jadow Ace perform the Ultra Red driving to to smashes away any cars that gets in its way, which unfortunately includes Mota's Lord Spirt and Grease's Lord Knight, causing the latter two to run at the last positions. Jin took the first place for the qualifier race.

During the final in the Festival, the Jadow Ace tried to force its way through the section filled with sands, though it finished at 5th place in the end.

Unlike the Jadow Jackk, Jadow Ace's Laser Parts can compresses the air suck into its duct through its "The End" (Japanese: ジ・エンド, Ji Endo) (the rear hi-mount roller stay) Laser parts, and by decompress them through it, the Jadow Ace can performs the "Ultra Red" (Japanese: 炎刃全開ウルトラレッド, Urutora Reddo, lit. Flame Blade Full Throttle) driving where it gain spontaneous acceleration and speed increase. When a large amount of compressed air got decompressed, it can even go faster with the secondary "Red Burst" (Japanese: 業火炸裂レッドバースト, Reddo Bāsuto, lit. Hellfire Explosion) driving.

Mini 4WD Hyper Dash Grand Prix[]

The Jadow Ace and its Laser Parts were added in the May 25, 2022 update. The Jadow Ace bodyshell has the significant skill "The Red Demise", which increase speed by +3 percent, corner stability by +50 percent, tire friction by +25, but reduces roller friction by -50 percent and aero downforce by 1000 points. The bodyshell, like many of the recently introduced bodyshells, has its own specialize modification in a form of Lowering Gravity (Corner Stability).

The front underguard Laser Parts provides braking power and has the awakened skill "Red Defense" which increase the braking power by up to +55 points (activated by going through the lane-changing lane of the lane-changer sections) per lane-changing. The rear hi-mouth roller stay has the awakened skill "Red Endurance" which increase the speed by up to 5.5 percent (activate by going through lane-changer 3 times), while also increase the thrust angle by up to 11 degree (activated by going through the lane-changing lane of the lane-changer sections).
