Jolly-Joker

Jolly-Joker (Japanese: ジョリージョーカー, Jorī Jōkā) is a Truckin' Mini 4WD car released by Tamiya on December 18, 1990. It was released alongside the Sunny-Shuttle.

Like the Ford Ranger 4x4 Pickup, it is based on the seventh generation Ford F-Series pickup truck that was produced from 1979 to 1986.

General info[]

The Jolly-Joker is a 4x4 pickup, with rectanglar air intake with headlamps on the front and the vertical rectanglar signal lamps on the rear. It has fenders on the rear wheels and a bullbar that is attached to the front bumper.

The body consists of two parts: the black windows and the main bodyshell.

Standard model[]

The standard Jolly-Joker has the navy blue color with cyan and yellow stripes with orange and white trims. It has the 'Jolly-Joker' decal on the bonnet and the car number 152 on the doors.

The eariler batch of the Jolly-Joker has the specially-designed, silver-plated wheels and black slick tires, but later reissues has the silver-plated small-diameter fully-cowled mesh-type wheels with high-profile slick tires.

Premium variant[]

The Premium variant has the black body color with different body decals with blue and white highlights. It has several faux OEM decals, the 'Jolly-Joker' decals on the rear flares and on the bonnet as well as the Tamiya logo and the company's URL on the bodyshell. It has the car number 55.

The bodyshell was attached to the AR Chassis via the Side Body Catch Parts.

It was equipped with the deep gold small-diameter fully-cowled mesh-type wheels with high-profile slick tires.
