The Kumamon Mini 4WD - Supporting Kumamoto (Japanese: がんばれ!熊本 ミニ四駆 (くまモン版), Ganbare! Kumamoto Mini Yonku (Kumamon-ban)) is a limited edition Mini 4WD PRO car released by Tamiya on June 11, 2016.

A variant of Raikiri, this Mini 4WD car was created for charity purpose to helps Kumamoto Prefecture recovering from the 2016 Kumamoto earthquake that happened on April 16, 2016.

General info[edit | edit source]

The bodyshell of this variant of Raikiri was molded in clear colors, with the Kumamon-inspired decals on it. The very same driver figurine of Kumamon from Mini 4WD Kumamon Version was placed on the motor/gear cover of its MA Chassis.

Standard variant[edit | edit source]

The standard variant was equipped with the yellow small-diameter 5-spoke Saber-type low-profile wheels with the black low-profile tires. Both the chassis frame and A parts were molded in black. it comes with the Rev-Tuned 2 Motor PRO.

Pastel Blue Chassis[edit | edit source]

The Pastel Blue Chassis has the tires and chassis swapped for the watermelon green tires and pastel blue chassis.

Just like the standard model, the Pastel Blue Chassis variant was created for charity purpose after the 2020 Kyushu flooding on July 4, 2020, which also affects Kumamoto prefecture.
