The Lexus LBX Morizo RR (Japanese: レクサス LBX Morizo RR, Rekusasu Erubīekkusu Morizō Daburuāru) is an upcoming Mini 4WD PRO car to be released by Tamiya in 2025.
It was based on the high-performance variant of the Lexus LBX by Toyota's premium brand Lexus.
General info[]
The LBX has a sporty 5-door hatchback body design, with a black rooftop and a roof spoiler on the rear.
Standard variant[]
The standard kit has the blue-colored bodyshell.
It was equipped with the gun metal, small-diameter fin-type low-profile wheels paired with the black low-profile tires. The chassis and A parts were molded in black.
About the Lexus LBX Morizo RR[]
Unveiled at the Tokyo Auto Salon in January 2024, the Lexus LBX Morizo RR is the high-performance variant of the LBX compact crossover SUV.
While it shares the same TNGA-B platform with the regular LBX, it has more wield points for increased rigidity.
Whereas the regular LBX was powered by the 1.5L M15A-FXE straight-3 engine that is augmented with a electric motor in a power-split hybrid setup, the LBX Morizo RR is powered by the same 1.6 liter G16E-GTS turbocharged straight-3 petrol engine that powers the GR Yaris and the GR Corolla. It is mated to either a 6-speed EA67F intelligent manual gearbox or a 8-speed UC80F "GR-DAT" automatic gearbox, which then sends the power to all four wheels via the GR-Four drivetrain.
The LBX Morizo RR is only available in Japan and is only available through a lottery system.
