The Light-Dash Motor (Japanese: ライトダッシュモーター, Raito Dasshu Mōtā) are a series of Mini 4WD motors manufactures by SMC Motor and released by Tamiya since June 27, 2009.
General info[]
The Light-Dash Motor is a balance-type motor that sits between the Atomic-Tuned Motor and the Hyper-Dash Motor in terms of performance characteristic.
While the revving performance of the motor is similar to that of the Rev-Tuned Motor, it has the higher torque performance that is comparable to the non-race-legal Ultra Dash Motor. Unfortunately, its endurance characteristic suffers as It utilizes the bronze brushes.
Both variants has the yellow endbell cap and silver metal housing.
