The Lord Knight (Japanese: ロードナイト, Rōdo Naito) is an Laser Mini 4WD car released by Tamiya on July 30, 2022.
It was featured in the manga Mini4King as Grease Mackenzie's machine.
General info[]
The Lord Knight features the same sleek, open-wheel body as the Lord Spirit, with differences being having the body color and having the different roof on the cockpit part. On the top of the cockpit is an mohawk-esque air intake running back from it.
By default, the Lord Knight was equipped with four 2mm height rollers, an rear hi-mount roller stay and a front underguard. While the 2mm height rollers and the hi-mount roller stay provides similar effects to the ones on Jadow A, the front underguard not only provide a slight tensile strength improvement to the front bumper, but also provides the frontal brake on slopes.
Standard variant[]
The standard model has the blue body color with yellow stripes.
It was equipped with the white, all-new 3-spoke Laser Dish wheels paired with the black Avante-type slick tires. The chassis frame and A parts were molded in black, and the Laser parts were molded in clear yellow.
Full Laser[]
The CoroCoro Comic-limited variant has the bodyshell molded in the same color as the Laser parts. It was produced at the limited quantity of 500 units.

Mini4King[]
Like Mota's Lord Spirit, the Lord Knight is presumably a mass-produced kit. Grease later has the Lord Knight equipped with the Laser Parts, after he figured out that he can calculate his out with with the parts.
Whereas Lord Spirit's specialty is straight speed, Lord Knight's specialty is cornering. Its Laser Parts, particularly the rear hi-mount roller stay, absorbs the centrifugal force when cornering, and release them through the stay results in massive acceleration at the curves, eliminating speed loss. By accumulating enough energy and release them at once, Lord Knight can perform the "Star Road" (Japanese: 流星光路, Sutaa Rōdo, lit. Meteor Optical Path) driving technique. During the training session against the supercomputer and the virtual replica of his car, Grease learned the "Dark Star" (Japanese: 暗黒流星, Dāku Sutaa, lit. Darkness Meteor) driving technique by eliminating the roller rotational loss of his car.
