The Mini 4WD Basic Tune-Up Set (Japanese: ファーストトライ パーツセット, Fasuto Torai Pātsu Setto) is a series of Mini 4WD Grade-up Parts released by Tamiya since September 17, 2011.

General info

As their names implies, they are the series of basic parts sets, designed for those who just started into the Mini 4WD racing.

The basic contents of the sets includes a front FRP plate (FRP Multi-Roller Setting Stay, FRP Wide Front Plate for AR Chassis or FRP Wide Front Plate for VZ Chassis), a rear FRP plate (FRP Rear Multi-Roller Setting Stay, FRP Wide Rear Plate for AR Chassis or FRP Wide Front Plate for VZ Chassis), 6 rollers (2 pairs of 19mm Low-Friction Plastic Rollers and 1 pair of 13mm Low-Friction Rollers or 6 pairs of 13mm Low Friction Plastic Rollers), 6 stabilizers (either 2 pairs of large stabilizer ball caps and a pair of small stabilizer ball caps or 6 pairs of small stabilizer ball caps, or 3 pair of small stabilizer ball caps), either 2 mass damper weights (A pair of bowl-shaped mass damper weights or 2 pairs of cylinder-shaped mass damper weights) or 4 mass damper weights (2 pairs of cylinder-shaped heavy mass damper weights), 6 stoppers, a pair of 10mm hex mounts (First set and AR set only), 2 to 4 15mm spacers, a pair of 6.7mm spacers, 2 to 4 3mm spacers, 2 to 4 30mm screws, 4 25mm screws, 2 15mm screws, 8 to 9 truss screws, 6 to 7 large washers, 5 to 9 spring washers and 7 locknuts. The sets also includes a small wrench and rubber pipe for easy installation.

The most common setups with those sets are 2 front rollers with hi-stablizer ball caps, 4 rear rollers with mass dampers.

Traditionally, new sets will be released every time the new Mini 4WD chassis was made. Despite this, the sets are compatible with almost every chassis to date.
