The Mini 4WD Battery Case (Japanese: ミニ四駆 バッテリーケース, Mini Yonku Batterī Kēsu) is a Mini 4WD Grade-up Parts released by Tamiya on February 26, 2011. It was Tamiya's version of the Waterlight GE's Portable Battery Case.

General info

As its name implies, the case can be used to stores up to the total of 12 AA batteries or 18 AAA batteries. Despite the case's naming, it can be used to stores batteries that were for other purposes.

The case was separated into top and bottom parts, and each part has 3 sections, large enough to stores 2 AA batteries or 3 AAA batteries per section.

Although it was designed for the AA batteries, it is not compatible with AA batteries that exceeds the standard AA battery's diameter (i.e. Panasonic Evolta alkaline batteries and Eneloop batteries (except the Lite variant)).

The case can be stored in any of the carrying boxes, including Racer's Box, Super Racer's Box, Portable Pit and Carrying Pit.
