The Mini 4WD Bearing Lubricant Oil (Japanese: ミニ四駆 ベアリングオイル, Miniyonku Bearingu Oiru) is a lubricant released by Tamiya on December 11, 2021.
General info[]
The Bearing Lubricant Oil, as its name suggest, was made specifically for maintaining the metal ball bearings on the axis or on the aluminum ball bearing rollers. It has the synthetic hydrocarbon oil as base oil.
Compare to the normal greases like the F Grease, the Bearing Lubricant Oil has much higher viscosity, allowing it to get into the inner part of the ball bearings through the slits. Its high viscosity, however, also limited its use to only the ball bearings (as applying to gears will result in oil leaks out of the gear compartment and thus spilling oils onto the track surface, violating the race regulations), and excessive oils must be wiped off.
