The Mini 4WD Koala Racer (Japanese: ミニ四駆コアラ, Mini Yonku Koara) is a Racing Mini 4WD car released by Tamiya on January 12, 2019.

It was the 10th entry in the animal Mini 4WD sub-series.

General info

Both the standard model and the Pastel Special has the car number 10 on their bodyshells, as the standard model was the 10th Mini 4WD car in the 'Animal Mini 4WD' sub-series.

Unique to them is the pre-painted, super-deformed koala driver figurine.

Koala Racer

The standard Koala Racer features the flat, open-wheel Top-Force bodyshell. It has the yellow green body color with the sky-themed, sky blue/white-colored body decals and the tree decals on around the canopy. The koala driver figurine has gray fur.

It was equipped with the yellow, large-diameter 5-spoke lightweight wheels paired with the green arched tires. The chassis frame and A parts were molded in white and green respectively.

Pastel Special

The event-exclusive Pastel special features the open-wheel bodyshell of that of the Panda Racer. It has the turquoise body color with deep pink/white body decals. The 'Team Aussie', 'Australia' and the decal resembles the Australia land can be found on the bodyshell. The koala driver figurine has beige fur.

It was equipped with the white, small-diameter fin-type low-profile wheels with the clear, soft-compound low-profile slick tires with the special 'Koala Racer Pastel Special' decal between it and the wheels. The chassis frame and A parts were molded in pink and white respectively.
