The Mini 4WD Kumamon Version (Japanese: ミニ四駆・くまモン バージョン, Mini Yonku Kumamon Bājon) is a Mini 4WD car released by Tamiya on August 13, 2014. Like Mini 4WD Shirokumakko and Mini 4WD Panda, the normal driver figurine is replaced by the driver figurine of Kumamon, the mascot character of Kumamoto Prefecture in Japan.
Originally a limited model, it become a regular Mini 4WD car release due to popular demand. It was the first Mini 4WD car in the 'Animal Mini 4WD' sub-series.
General Info[]
The body is based on the Astute Open Top but with normal driver figurine being switched out for the pre-painted, Kumamon driver figurine that is attached to the battery clip. The bodyshell is molded in black with several Kumamon-based decals on it.
It is equipped with rhe red-color, small-diameter 3-spoke Fully Cowled-type wheels paired with the black high-profile slick tires. The chassis frame and A parts were molded in black.

- The Mini 4WD Kumamon version is the first limited-edition Mini 4WD car to become a mass production Mini 4WD release due to popular demand.
- In addition to the Mini 4WD Kumamon Version, Tamiya also released the R/C Buggy Kumamon Version and the R/C Tractor Kumamon Version, based on the same company's Sand Rover 2WD R/C buggy and Tumbling Bull 2WD R/C tractor respectively.
