The Mini 4WD Kumamon Version (ミニ四駆・くまモン バージョン) is a Mini 4WD car released by Tamiya in 2014. Like Mini 4WD Shirokumakko and Mini 4WD Panda, the normal driver figurine is replaced by the driver figurine of Kumamon, the mascot character of Kumamoto Prefecture in Japan.

Originally a limited model, it become a regular Mini 4WD car release due to popular demand.

General Info

The body is based on the Astute Open Top but with normal driver figurine being switched out for the pre-painted, Kumamon driver figurine that is attached to the battery clip. The bodyshell is molded in black with several Kumamon-based decals on it.

It is equipped with rhe red-color, small-diameter 3-spoke Fully Cowled-type wheels paired with high-profile slick tires. All the chassis parts (minus the gears, propeller shaft, terminals and motor) are molded in black.
