The Mini 4WD LINE Friends Brown Racer is an upcoming limited edition Mini 4WD REV car to be released by Tamiya in September 2023, exclusively in South Korea.
Based on the K4 Gambol, it features the character Brown from the LINE messenger app.
General info[]
The Brown Racer features the clear light blue bodyshell, with the LINE-inspired, pop-styled body decals. Also included is a small driver figurine of the character Brown.
It was equipped with the black, small diameter fin-type low-profile wheels paired with the fluorescent pink low-profile slick tires. The chassis frame and A parts were molded in fluorescent pink and white respectively. It comes with a special labeled Torque-Tuned 2 Motor.
About LINE and the character Brown[]
The LINE messenger app was launched in Japan by NHN Japan (Which later became LINE Corporation and later LY Corporation) on June 23, 2011, few months after the 2011 Tohoku earthquake and tsunami. By February 2015, LINE had 600 million users.
The character Brown, who had been featured since the app's launch, is a brown bear who is silent but has a warm heart.
