General info Edit
The Panda Racer featuring the racing buggy body design, with a opened canopy that has two rollbars around it. It has a 'Tamiya' decal on the spoiler, the Tamiya logo decals on the sides of the side cowls, a 'Super-II Chassis' decal on the front, the 'Mini 4WD Panda Racer' decals on the side canopy and the Panda Racer logo decals on all around the bodyshell. As it was the 3rd car in the 'Animal Mini 4WD' sub-series, it has the car number 3 on it.
Inside the rollbar canopy is a pre-painted, cute panda driver figurine that was attached to the battery clip. The bodyshell was mainly in orange, with white and red stripes and black spoiler.
It was equipped with the white, large diameter 6-spoke teardrop-type wheels paired with the cyan Avante-type slick tires. The chassis frame and A parts were molded in German gray and orange respectively.
In the manga Edit
Kitaro Kiba, the older brother to Kotaro and coach of the Team Pegasus, owns a Panda Racer.
Kitaro's Panda Racer has been tuned extensively and is a par above the Team Pegasus member's machines in terms of performance. It also turns out that his Panda Racer had one major sleeve: He had modified the panda driver figurine (Which is originally a static figurine) into a small, size-shifting robot, which he use to cheat his way in a race against the team member by catching Maruo's Rowdy Bull and stopped the other cars right at the finish line, much to Tsubasa and co.'s chagrin.
