The Multi-Roller Setting Stays (Japanese: マルチワイドステー, Maruchi Waido Sutē) are a series of Mini 4WD Grade-up Parts released by Tamiya since February 21, 2009.

They were the series of reinforcing plates, consists of both FRP, CFRP and duralumin materials.

General info

As their names implies, the multi-roller setting stays has more attachement holes which allows more complex, flexible setups. All sets supports wider roller setups from 9mm to 19mm.

Only the regular FRP plates are regular releases, while others are limited or event-exclusive release.

Front multi-roller setting stays

The front plate can be directly installed onto the Mini 4WD car's front bumper to strengthen it. Usually, racer can even install the mass dampers onto the front plate as long as the bodyshell does not interferes with or covering the front bumper.

Parts-wise, most sets includes five 5mm screws, ten large washers, five spring washers and five locknuts. The only exception to this is the Duralumin Multi-Roller Setting Stay and Parts Set, which is bundled with the 2mm Aluminum Lock Nut and the Mini 4WD Aluminum Hex Mount Set sets. it should be noted that there are multiple shape variations for the front plates depending on the variants.

Rear multi-roller setting stays

The rear plates can be directly installed onto the Mini 4WD car's rear roller stays to strengthen it. Usually, racer can even install the mass dampers onto the rear place as long as the bodyshell does not interferes with or covering the rear roller stays.

The rear plate features the long rear plates extended from the main parts, allowing racer to customize the car into the long tail setups, as long as the length of the car didn't exceed the maximum length as specified by the race regulations.

Compare to the front plates, the contents of the rear plates are pretty minimal; Only five large washers and five 5mm screws are included. Just like the front plates, it should be noted that there are multiple shape variations for the rear plates depending on the variants.
