The Neo-VQS (Japanese: ネオVQS, Neo Buikyūesu) is a Racing Mini 4WD car released by Tamiya on March 28, 2020. It is the first Mini 4WD car to be equipped with the VZ Chassis.
General info
A modernized version of the Vanquish Jr., it features a open-wheel body design that sports a sharp short nose on the front, the bargeboards on the sides and a 2-row rear spoiler on the rear. A pair of air-ducts can be found on just behind the canopy.
Standard variant
The standard variant features the black body color, with red and silver stripes and carbon-pattern on it.
It was equipped with the red, small diameter low profile Saber-type wheels paired with the black low profile slick tires. Both the chassis frame and A parts were molded in black.
Japan Cup 2020 variant
Unlike past Japan cup models, the annual Japan Cup 2020 variant features the polycarbonate bodyshell with plastic mounting.
