The Nissan Terrano '93 Paris-Dakar (Team NOK JATCO) (Japanese: ニッサン テラノ '93 パリダカ仕様 (チーム NOK JATCO), Nissan Terano' 93 Paridaka Shiyō (Chīmu NOK Jatoko)) is a Wild Mini 4WD car released by Tamiya on April 27, 1993.
It was based on Nissan Private Japon Team's modified first-generation Nissan Terrano/Pathfinder that was participated into the 1993 season of Dakar Rally.
General info[]
The Terrano featuring the 2-door SUV body design, with two-tone colors of blue and cyan. It has the built-in rectangle headlamps and the circle sub-headlamps on the front, and the vertical-rectangle backlamps on the rear. The rear side windows were covered by body paint, while the rear door has also modified compare the road-legal Terrano.
Several manufacturers decals and sponsors decals, which includes Nissan, Jatco, Nok Corporation, Ujiauto, NSK Bearing, Falken and of course, Tamiya, can be found on all over the bodyshell.
It was equipped with the standard wild-type wheels with monster truck tires.
About the Nissan Private Japon Team's Nissan Terrano[]
Manufactured from 1985 to 1995, the first-generation Terrano/Pathfinder (codename WD21) is a SUV produced by Nissan. The SUV was chosen to be the rally car for the Nissan Private Japon Team and participates in the Dakar Rally from 1987 to 1996.
Two versions of the cars was made to adheres the FIA's Group T1 and Group T2 rules.
The rally car was later superseded by the second-generation Terrano/Pathfinder (R50) since 1997, two years after the road-legal first-generation WD21 model being replaced by the R50 model.
