Here at Mini 4WD Wiki, all users are excepted to follow the Code of Conduct while they were on the wiki. This policy article describe on how the contributor should behave on this wiki to make it more equal for everyone.
Code of Conduct
No attention
Paying no attention to what other contributor(s) and administrator(s) saying and repeatedly requesting the same question, as well as paying no attention to the seriousness the wiki is trying to follow, might get you a warning from administrators.
Spamming
Spamming is defined as follows:
- Create spam article(s) to advertise something.
- Add advertisement hyperlink(s) to the existing article(s).
- Spamming the talk page(s) of other user(s) with the same question repeatedly in short succession.
Depends on the severely of the the situation, a user will be either get warned by administrators or suspended from the wiki for certain amount of time or blocked permanently from the wiki if he/she was caught doing so.
No piracy
The wiki is not for putting links of pirated shows, movies and video games, or for talking about how to circumvent any copyright protection. Anyone caught doing so will be either get warned by the administrators or have their account(s) suspended ranging from a few days to permanent depends on the situation.
Vandalism
On mediawiki-based wiki platforms such as Wikipedia and Fandom, vandalism can be a small or serious problem depends on how deep it is. At Mini 4WD Wiki, we do not appreciates vandalism and those who found vandalizing the articles repeatedly (usually 3 vandalize edits or more in a span of 24 hours) will be blocked for 3 months for first offense, 6 months for second offense, 1 year for third offense and finally, permanent block for fourth offense. Additionally, affected article(s) that had been vandalized more than once within the 24-hours will be locked for up to 6 months. If the offender(s) was being caught doing repeated vandalism on other Fandom wikis in short period of time (Usually within a week.), considering report it to SOAP wiki.
Rebelling
Repeated rebellious user who didn't listens to other user(s) and/or administrator(s) and rebels against them will be blocked permanently from the wiki. As the Mini 4WD Wiki is not an anime and manga focused wiki, it doesn't need fanboys that are rebelling against the aesthetic set-up of this wiki.
About dealing with the vandal anonymous users
Due to how the dynamic IP address works, it is hard to figure out if the anonymous user who vandalized the article(s) is the same person as the other anonymous user. As such, we will revert the change(s) to the vandalized article(s) and if the situation doesn't improve within the next 48 hours, we will also lock the article(s) in question for two days.
