|Manufacturer(s)||FDK Corporation (sudsidary company of Fujitsu)|
It is the second generation PowerChamp batteries specifically made for Mini 4WD races.
It was later supersedes by the PowerChamp Gold batteries on April 1994.
General info Edit
The labeling of the battery is the same as the original PowerChamp battery, with one major difference; the 'PowerChamp' wording on the battery has been scaled down to make way for the red 'EX' letter that placed in-between it and the Tamiya logo.
The EX improves upon the previous battery by increasing the discharge rate and endurance of the battery.
As it is a Alkaline battery, it is heavier than the Mini 4WD Ni-Cd Battery and is not cost effective due to being a non-rechargeable battery.
