General info Edit
Unlike the previous two PowerChamp batteries, the exterior of the PowerChamp Gold batteries now features the gold plated label, with the Tamiya star logo, the white 'Gold' letter and the 'PowerChamp' letter on them.
Unlike the PowerChamp EX batteries which only improve upon the original PowerChamp batteries by increasing the discharge-rate and endurance, the PowerChamp Gold batteries go one step further by having the gold plated positive and negative terminals. This not only reduces the power loss in transmitting electrical power to the motor, but also making the terminals resistance to corrosion.
As it is a Alkaline battery, it is heavier than the Mini 4WD Ni-Cd Battery and is not cost effective due to being a non-rechargeable battery.
