The Raizzan (Japanese: ライザン, Raizan) is an upcoming Mini 4WD PRO car to be released by Tamiya on January 17, 2026. It was designed by car designer Kota Nezu of Znug Design, who had previously designed Astralster, Raikiri and Eleglitter.
General info[]
In a similar vein to the Astralster and Raikiri by the same designer, the Raizzan has a 2x2 sports car body design. Named after the legendary sword that appears in Japanese mythology and inspired by birds of prey such as the peregrine falcon and the eagle, it has sharp design cues, which make it look like a bird with spread wings.
One distinct feature that the Raizzan has is that the main body and the fenders are separate parts, and it can be converted into an open-top body by removing the fenders. There's a large space in the cockpit of the main body, which allows any small driver figurine to be placed into it.
Standard model[]
The standard model comes with a red and smoke bodyshell.
It is equipped with the new small diameter low-profile T-spoke wheels molded in deep gold and paired with the black low-profile slick tires. The chassis frame and the A parts were molded in black.
