Rising Edge (Japanese: ライジング エッジ, Raijingu Ejji) is a Mini 4WD PRO car released by Tamiya on October 29, 2011. Along with Slash Reaper, it is designed by Eiichi Shimizu and Tomohiro Shimoguchi, the manga artists duo that were known for their manga series Linebarrels of Iron.
General info
The Rising Edge featuring the smooth-line, fully cowled body that was inspired by the shape of Katana (a Japanese sword). It is mainly in white, with red, blue and black trims mix into it.
It is equipped with the blue small-diameter 5-spoke Saber-type low-profile wheels paired with the black low-profile tires. It uses the N-02 and T-01 units, and is equipped with the standard, light gray 16 mm lightweight plastic rollers. The nose, center, tail unit and the A parts were molded in black.
