About the Super Sabre 1/10 R/C Buggy[]
Released in 1987, the Super Sabre is the entry-level hobby-grade R/C buggy and is a sister car to the Boomerang and shares the same chassis. It is the last Hotshot-based R/C buggy to be released.
The only difference is that the rear CVA dampers were changed to the shorter ones.
Since it use the same chassis as the Boomerang, it also has the same flaws; noticeable power loss, poor handling, improper internal sealing and others.
It was later re-released in 2023, borrowing the same chassis from the 2008 re-release of The Boomerang. Unlike the original release, the polycarbonate bodyshell was pre-painted and precut.
