However, its has some flaws; the rear 2-hardpoint attachment holes can break easily, the drivetrain's precision is worse than the Super TZ's which lead to power loss, and the change in the motor case's design leds to it being imcompatible with the gear case from the [[Lightweight Super Speed Gear Set]]. SuperTZXChassis

Super TZ-X Chassis

The Super TZ-X Chassis (Japanese: スーパーTZ-Xシャーシ, Sūpā Tīzettoekkusu Shāshi) is a Mini 4WD chassis released by Tamiya in April 1999. It debuted with the release of Vanishing-Gazer.

General info

Being a updated version of the Super TZ Chassis, it shares many aspects of its predecessor. The Super TZ-X has some key differences: the additional attachment holes on the front bumper and on the rear.

Instead of the standard one-hardpoint rear roller stay, the Super TZ-X comes with the very same 2-hardpoint rear roller stay from the VS Chassis.

However, its has some flaws; the rear 2-hardpoint attachment holes can break easily, the drivetrain's precision is worse than the Super TZ's which lead to power loss, and the change in the motor case's design leds to it being imcompatible with the gear case from the Lightweight Super Speed Gear Set. In some ways, it can be seen as the Super version of the Type-4 Chassis due to its flaws as less Mini 4WD cars were released with this chassis.
