The Thunder Shot Open Top (Japanese: サンダーショット オープントップ, Sandā Shotto Ōpun Toppu) is a limited edition Racing Mini 4WD car released by Tamiya on July 16, 2011. It is the open-top version of the Thunder Shot Jr.

The Thunder Shot Open Top, like other open-top Mini 4WD cars, featuring the driver figurine that was placed into the canopy part of the bodyshell that was cut open.
The bodyshell is mainly in white, with blue and black trims on it. In addition, it has the secondary flat rear spoiler on top of the integrated spoiler, something that the other Thunder Shots doesn't have.
It comes with the black, large diameter 5-spoke TRF-type wheels paired with the black Avante-type slick tires. The chassis frame and A parts were molded in black and purple respectively.

- As of 2017, the Thunder Shot Open Top was the only Racing Mini 4WD car that was equipped with the Super XX Chassis which, up until then, was made exclusively to Aero Mini 4WD series and Mighty Mini 4WD series.
