The Torcruiser (Japanese: トルクルーザー, Torukurūzā) is a Mini 4WD PRO car released by Tamiya in December 2005.
General info[]
The Torcruiser featuring the long-nose, modern sports car body design, with air vents protrudes on just behind the headlights on the front cowls.
The bodyshell, unlike other Mini 4WD cars, was made of clear polycarbonate with plastic mounting attached, meaning it can be painted in any color with spray paint (using special paints for polycarbonate). The preferred color of the bodyshell is red, and has the decals that has red and orange highlights with black and silver trims. Because cutting is also required, this makes the assembly of the car harder for those not used to this.
It was equipped with the white small diameter 3-spoke VS-type wheels paired with the black X-type narrow slick tires, and was equipped with the N-01 and T-01 units for its MS Chassis. The nose, center and tail were molded in black, while the A parts were molded in light gray. It comes with the standard, light gray 16 mm lightweight plastic rollers.
Hatsune Miku Special[]
The Miyazawa Model-exclusive variant is the same as the regular Torcruiser except it comes with two Vocaloid-inspired decals: one for Hatsune Miku and one for Kagamine Rin/Len. In some ways, it is the 'itasha' version of the mini car.
