The Touch Dash Motor (Japanese: タッチダッシュモーター, Tatchi Dasshu Mōtā) is a Mini 4WD motor manufactured by Mabuchi Motor and released by Tamiya on March 11, 1998.

General info

The Touch Dash Motor sports a light green endbell cap and silver metal housing. Perfomance-wise; it is similar to the Torque-Tuned Motor.

One unique trait of this motor is that it can switch on and off itself. The motor can be switched on by pushing the mini 4wd car forward, and will switch off if the motor is subjected to extreme load, i.e. when the cat hits a wall or any other major obstacle.
