The Toyota Hilux 4x4 (Japanese: トヨタ・ハイラックス4WD, Toyota Hairakkusu Yondaburudī), also known as Toyota Pickup 4x4 in the US, is a Original Mini 4WD car released by Tamiya on October 14, 1982.
It was based on the third-generation Toyota Hilux pickup truck that was produced from 1978 to 1983.

The Toyota Hilux features the 4x4 pickup body design, with the rectangle-shaped air intake with circle-shaped headlamps on the front and the vertical rectangle-shaped tall lamps on the rear. There's the flaresides around the rear wheels and the bullbar that is attached to the front bumper. There's also a non-removable tray shell on the rear of the car.
In addition to the 3-color stripes around the bodyshell, it has several manufacturer and OEM decals. It was mainly in orange.
It comes with the metallic gray Origin-2 wheels with the black Origin radial tires.
About the 3rd-generation Toyota Hilux[]
Introduced in August 1978, the third-generation Toyota Hilux is a pickup truck produced by Toyota. It is available in 2-door and 4-door body designs and has 2WD and 4WD variants.
Powering the pickup truck is either the Toyota R-series straight-4 SOHC natural-aspirated petrol engines (available from 1.6 liter to 2.4 liter) or a 2.2 liter Toyota L-series straight-4 diesel engine that were mated to either the 4- or 5-speed manual transmission or 3-speed automatic transmission. The N40 models has longer wheelbase than that of the N30 models.
It was later replaced by the fourth-generation Hilux in August 1983.
