The Toyota Hilux Monster Racer Junior (Japanese: トヨタ ハイラックス モンスターレーサー Jr., Toyota Hairakkusu Monsutā Rēsā Junia) is a Wild Mini 4WD car released by Tamiya on July 16, 1991.

It was based on Tamiya's 1/10 scale RC truggy Toyota Hilux Monster Racer, which in turns based on PPI Motorsports's heavily modified Toyota Hilux truck drove by Ivan "Ironman" Stewart in the Mickey Thompson Grand Prix Circuit Off-Road Championship in 1990.

The Monster Racer features the typical pick-up truck body design on a monster truck chassis, with the flat plates placed behinds the cab. Several sponsor decals, including Toyota, Denso, Eclipse Mobile Sound, Progressive Custom Wheels, Earl's Performance Plumbing and Yokohama. It was mainly in white, with red, orange and yellow stripes on it.

It was equipped with the standard wild-type wheels with monster truck tires.

About the 1/10 truggy Toyota Hilux Monster Racer[]

Released on August 8, 1990, the Hilux Monster Racer is Tamiya's electric-powered RC truggy.

The dubbed King Cab chassis, carried from the Nissan King Cab, featuring the bathtub chassis frame, supported by the independent double-wishbone suspensions with the CVA long stroke dampers on all four-wheels, with an addition anti-roll bar at the front. The 540-size RS-540S motor was mounted onto the rear of the car along with a closed gearbox, which sends power to the rear wheels. For the speed controller, it comes with a 3-step forward mechanical speed controller.

For the Monster Racer, it was equipped with the oversized wheels with the front grooved tires and rear racing monster spike tires.
