Twin Stars Mechanomotive Force Laboratory (Japanese: 二ツ星駆動力学研究所, Nitsuboshi Kudōryokugaku Kenkyūjo) is a Japanese manga series written by Kentaro Hayashi, based around Tamiya's Mini 4WD. It was serialized online on Shueisha's Tonari no Young Jump website.
Overview[]
The story focus on the fictional version of the manga artist Kentaro Hayashi, who is encouraged by his acquaintance Ondawara (whose motto is "play with everything you've got") to take up Mini 4WD hobby again since his childhood. When Kentaro's editor Nakamura find out about the former is into Mini 4WD, he suggest to Kentaro to make a manga about Mini 4WD. Ondawara had setup a Mini 4WD racetrack inside his office, and gathers a variety of people (including Kentaro himself) to form a team called the Twin stars Mechanomotive Force Laboratory (or Team TMFL for short).
And this is a story about their daily lives and their passion for the Mini 4WD.
