Hello, this is the founder and admin Yuuyatails.
I'm proud to announce that Mini 4WD Wiki is now opened for unregistered users!
Hold on! Does that means that the vandal users are free to vandalize the wiki? To counter this, the User Conduct Policy had also modified for dealing with unregistered vandal users.
With the update to the User Conduct Policy, articles that were vandalized by the unregistered users for more than 3 times in a span of 48 hours will be locked for 2 days, and will be extended if the article is vandalized by anonymous users after the lock is expired.
Keep on Running!
It came to my attention that the Wikipedia article for the Mini 4WD cars has been added with lots of non-senses and unreliable or even non-existent sources, therefore I set up a new policy: Starting today, all contributors has to contact the admin(s) of the Mini 4WD wiki and let them verify the Wikipedia article(s) to see if they has reliable source(s), before contributors can adding any Wikipedia hyperlink to any articles here on Mini 4WD Wiki. If the admin says no, contributors are not allowed to add the hyperlink to that Wikipedia article on the Mini 4WD wiki, unless the better revision of the Wikipedia article(s) were made.
Hyperlinks added by the admin are the exceptions to this, as we have verified if the Wikipedia …
Hello, this is your wiki founder Yuuyatails.
As you all may know, I had been contributes to the wiki on my own. Well most of the time. And I had long realized that just one-man building a wiki isn't going to makes a wiki better in a long shot.
Because of this, we are now looking for hiring not one, not two, not three, but four administrators! That's right, four administrators.
Of course, you would have to show us that you are capable of managing a wiki fair and square. The requirements are:
- More than 30 article edits within a single month (earlier edits before 12:00 AM (GMT 8+) of November 16, 2018, as well as edits on templates, doesn't counts)
- Has some acknowledges about Mini 4WD cars, including the minicars, Grade-up Parts, circuits, media wor…
This is your wiki admin, Yuuyatails.
As some of you might have already noticed on some wiki articles, one character from Dash! Yonkuro, Punkuro, has its given name changed from 'Koji' or 'Kouji' to 'Peiji'.
This change was not without reasons.
In the original Dash! Yonkuro manga, Punkuro's full name was never revealed. His full name ('地味貢二') was only revealed in the now out-of-print Emperor Mini 4WD Customization Book (Published by Shogakukan), along with the pronunciation of the name ('Jimi Kouji').
But in later Mini 4WD-related books (Especially the Mini 4WD Speed Guide 2015 book (See page 7), published by Tamiya), the kanji '貢' (Kou) in his name was replaced by the kanji '頁' (Peji). This caused a confusion about his given names among ACG fa…
If you frequently visits the Mini 4WD Wiki and reading the car articles, you might came across the line like this:
The (insert car name here) is a fictional Mini 4WD car that appear in (insert work name here).
It come to my attention that someone has put the Mini 4WD lineup categories into the Mini 4WD car articles that are about the ficitonal cars (cars that doesn't have the kit or bodyshell releases by Tamiya). This will only causes some confusion to the visitor who visits the wiki.
My advices: If you came across such car articles, Do not, in any way, add the car lineup categories into the fictional car articles. Always checking the Tamiya official website or Tamiya America official website to see if the car has been released/was planned to…
